Brief introduction:Granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), also known as CSF-3 and MGI-1G, is a cytokine and hormone of the IL-6 superfamily. G-CSF is expressed by monocytes, macrophages, endothelial cells, fibroblasts and bone marrow stromal cells. Granulocyte colony stimulating factor stimulates the bone marrow to produce granulocyte and stem cells, especially the proliferation and differentiation of neutrophil lines. G-CSF is used to stimulate white blood cell production after chemotherapy and also to increase the number of hematopoietic stem cells after bone marrow transplantation.The molecular weight of recombinant mouse granulocyte colony stimulating factor (RG-CSF) was 22-24 KDa.
