Recombinant human interleukin 4(GMP grade) Molecular weight: mol wt ~15.0 kDa Interleukin-4 (Interleukin-4, IL-4) is a cytokine secreted by type II helper T cells (Th2 cells). The biological effects of interleukin-4, including stimulation of activated B and T cell proliferation and differentiation of CD4+T cells into type II helper T cells, also play a key role in regulating humoral and adaptive immunity. Interleukin-4 induces B-cell antibody class conversion to IgE and up-regulates the production of major tissue-compatible complex Type II. In humans IL-4 is mainly produced by activated T cells. Produced in mice by the Th2 subgroup. In addition, mast cells and IL-2 stimulated mouse T cell line 2.19, ConA stimulated human Th clone 2F1, mouse thymoma EL-4 cells and B cell line CH12 all secreted IL-4. The product was freeze-dried after being expressed, isolated and highly purified. The polypeptide chain consists of 130 amino acid residues and has a molecular weight of 15.1kDa. This product is a sterile lyophilized powder.
