Negri body, also known as rabies virus inclusion body, is a pathological morphological change of rabies. It was first discovered by Negri and is therefore also known as Negri body. It is unique to rabies, has eosinophilic properties, is located in the cytoplasm of nerve cells, and is round, oval, or diamond shaped. Endoplasmic vesicles are most commonly found in pyramidal cells of the hippocampus and Purkinje cells of the cerebellum, as well as in neurons of different ganglia and medullary cells, salivary glands, tongue, and other organs. The diagnostic technique for rabies (GB/T18639-2002) recommends imprinting plates fixed in methanol and air dried, which can be stained with seller solution or Mann solution.

This kit uses the seller staining method to stain the Negri body. The Negri body can be stained peach red, nerve cells are blue purple, and tissue cells are dark blue. This product is only used for scientific research and cannot be applied in clinical diagnosis or other fields.
