Product Introduction:

Viral hepatitis is an infectious disease caused by hepatitis viruses with degeneration and necrosis of liver parenchymal cells as the main lesion. Hepatitis B virus is the hepatitis B virus that spreads worldwide, HBsAg is present in the cytoplasm of the liver cells, and HBsAg and HBcAg of the hepatitis B virus can be displayed by immunohistochemical methods at present.Methods for displaying HBsAg include Shikata lichen reds, Aldehyde magenta, and Victoria blue methods.

Hepatitis B Virus Staining Kit (Shikata Lichen Red Method) is easy to operate and has high specificity, but the staining effect may be varied by different batches of raw materials, and the probable mechanism is that the lichen red binds to the disulfide bond of cystine within HBsAg, which in turn develops the color. HBsAg-positive material is brownish red to dark brown, and hepatocyte nuclei are not colored. Intrahepatocyte lipofuscin is also dark brown.
