Product Description:

This kit is used to  detect the total  antioxidant levels  of antioxidants  and  antioxidant  enzymes in the samples. It is mainly used in the study of biological, medical and pharmaceutical studies to detect the total antioxidant capacity of antioxidant solutions.

 

In  acid  environment,  Fe3+-TPTZ  is  reduced  to  blue  Fe2+-TPTZ,  this  color  reaction  reflects  the  total antioxidant capacity.
The total antioxidant level is composed of various antioxidants and antioxidant enzymes in the test subject. In biological, medical, and pharmaceutical research, the total antioxidant capacity is often measured in various body fluids such as plasma, serum, saliva, and urine, as well as in lysates of cells or tissues, extracts of plants or Chinese herbal medicines, and solutions of various antioxidants.
