PKH26 is a fluorescent dye that binds highly specifically to cell membranes and is less toxic. It has a low fluorescent background and can easily penetrate the cell membrane. It is often used for cell membrane labeling and cell tracking, and by labeling cells, it is possible to observe the dynamic changes of cells in the process of growth, differentiation, migration, etc. The fluorescence intensity of PKH26 decreases step by step with the division of cells, and the fluorescence can be evenly distributed to the two descendant cells, and therefore it can be used for detecting the proliferation of cells, the estimation of the cell cycle, and the division of cells, etc. The fluorescence of PKH26 is not affected by pH and does not interfere with the fluorescence signals of other fluorescent dyes (e.g., fluorescent proteins, antibodies, or DNA dyes), so it can be used for cytotoxicity analysis.PKH26 is also commonly used in flow cytometry to determine T-cell-mediated cytotoxic activity.

Centrifuge the product to the bottom of the tube before proceeding with subsequent experiments.
Adjust the concentration of the PKH 26 working solution as needed. Once prepared, aliquot and store to avoid product loss due to repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Fluorescent dyes are susceptible to quenching, so try to avoid light to mitigate fluorescence quenching.

The product is valid for two years when stored at -20°C protected from light, The prepared solution is valid for one month when stored at -20°C protected from light, and for six months when stored at -80°C, protected from light.
