Product Introduction:

Lipofuscin is a tawny pigment with a granular appearance, consisting of fat-containing residues with lysosomal digests, and is thought to be produced by the oxidation of lipids and lipoproteins. The oxidation process is slow and occurs gradually, so the pigment exhibits different staining reactions, different colors, and variations in shape and size. Lipofuscin is seen in the liver, kidney, heart muscle, adrenal glands, nerve cells and ganglion cells. They are mainly found around the nucleus of cells.

This kit mainly consists of compound red solution and methylene blue solution, which can stain lipofuscin and waxy substances into brownish-black, with a light reddish-purple or light blue background.
