Product Introduction:
Mast cells are common cells in loose connective tissue. Mast cells are often found in groups along small blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. Mast cells are also commonly found around the interlobular ducts of the bronchi and pancreas. The nuclei are small and the cytoplasm is filled with coarse and metachromatic eosinophilic granules.
Mast cell staining solution (Alcian blue-Safranin method) could distinguish different types of metachromatic granules. After staining, the immature mast cell granules are blue, and the mature mast cell granules are red.
