Fungi are heterotrophic organisms with eukaryotes and cell walls. There are many species and genera. More than 10,000 genera and more than 100,000 species have been reported. Fungi are usually divided into three categories, namely yeasts, molds and mushrooms (large fungi). For yeasts and molds, glass beads can be used, while for large fungi, they can be ground directly with liquid nitrogen. The pre-treated bacterial liquid is adsorbed with a silica membrane to obtain a high-purity genome. The extracted and purified DNA can be directly used in downstream application experiments such as PCR/Real time-PCR, sequencing, Southern blot, mutant analysis, and SNP.
