Sheep Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a respiratory pathogen that can infect sheep, including domestic sheep, domestic goats, bighorn sheep and goats. Mycoplasma ovis causes mycoplasma pneumonia, and can also induce lung infections together with many other bacteria. The pathogenesis of Mycoplasma ovis involves several aspects, such as: changing macrophage activity, inducing the ciliated epithelium of ruminants to produce suicide antibodies, inhibiting lymphocyte activity, etc. These are all important factors leading to diseases in sheep and other small ruminants. . M. ovis can also serve as a predictor of other bacterial and viral infections. Different strains of M. ovis are often found in a single animal, and different strains differ in virulence. Mycoplasma ovis can be found in the lungs, trachea and nasal cavities of small ruminants, and its detection can be carried out by in vitro culture, PCR identification and serological methods.

 

PCR is a fast and powerful detection method, which is similar to that of mycoplasma cultured in vitro. Detection sensitivity is similar or slightly stronger. Mycoplasma ovis is difficult to culture and takes about two weeks to grow. During this period, it is often easily covered up by other faster-growing mycoplasmas. Therefore, the PCR method has obvious advantages over in vitro culture.

 

Mycoplasma ovine pneumonia PCR detection kit targets the 16S rRNA gene for PCR identification, primers It has been verified by BLAST that it specifically targets Mycoplasma ovis pneumoniae and has only weak cross-reactivity with Mycoplasma bovoculi . The PCR products of the two are the same size. Using the nucleic acid restriction endonuclease HindIII to degrade the product, the two small fragments obtained are Mycoplasma ovis pneumoniae. The PCR product of Mycoplasma bovis will not be cut. Mycoplasma bovis and Mycoplasma ovis pneumoniae have different hosts, so they may not cause interference during use. This kit is compatible with Mycoplasma arginini, Mycoplasma bovis,There is no cross-reaction with nine common mycoplasma species in ruminants, including Acholeplasma Laidlawii . Therefore, this kit can be used for the identification and detection of Mycoplasma ovis pneumoniae.

绵羊肺炎支原体PCR检测试剂盒针对16S rRNA基因进行PCR鉴定,引物经BLAST验证为特异性靶向绵羊肺炎支原体,仅与牛眼支原体(Mycoplasma bovoculi)有较弱的交叉反应。二者的PCR产物大小相同,用核酸限制性内切酶HindIII降解产物,得到两个小片段的为绵羊肺炎支原体,牛眼支原体的PCR产物不会被切断。牛眼支原体与绵羊肺炎支原体宿主不同,所以在使用中可不构成干扰。本试剂盒与包括精氨酸支原体(Mycoplasma Arginini)、牛支原体(Mycoplasma bovis)、和莱氏无胆甾支原体(Acholeplasma Laidlawii)等九种反刍动物常见的支原体无交叉反应。因此本试剂盒可用于绵羊肺炎支原体的鉴定和检测。
